My not-so-sweet nothings, mostly comprised of my feelings at losing my two-day-old son, Ryan David, to congenital heart defects, and to celebrate the arrival of Ryan's healthy little sister, Megan Elizabeth, and hopefully welcome another little miracle into our brood in July 2010.

I was once a cherubic soul ... but I lost my wings - along with a lot of other things - on August 11, 2005. Since then, my beloved husband and I have tried to pick up the pieces of our shattered dreams and make sense of what's happened - if there is any sense to be made out of babies dying. This bit of virtual space is where I work through my grief and anger over Ryan's death, my frustration at dealing with unexplained infertility, and my joy at finally conceiving and welcoming Ryan's healthy little sisters into the world.

Hi Sherry. I wanted to spread the word about this day. Your blog, and that of so many others has really had me thinking some deep thoughts recently.
Here's my question, I am very new to blogging and was trying to spread the word about this moment. I was trying to insert oyour small blinkie but unfortunately, I know very little of HTML and obviously did it wrong because while I gave you credit, the blinkie is not appearing on my blog. :( Can you tell me what I'm doing wrong. Sorry to be such an idiot. Thanks.

Hi Beth!
I think once you download the blinkie to your computer, you'll need to upload it to Photobucket (or another host site). Then you should be able to use the HTML code to link to the blinkie within the body of your blog post. When you preview, it should show up. Hope that helps and thank you for wanting to spread the word about October 15th! = )

Thanks Sherry for the blinkie! I just linked mine to your photobucket, since i don't have a photobucket account of my own. Let me know if that is not OK and i will set it up differently -- now that i have figured out how to set it up!
